My fella came home with a huge pile of hamburger yesterday. I’m short on inspiration and long on meat. Ahem. What’s your favorite hamburger recipe? Tell Me Now! I’m stopping at the store on the way home…

This is the way my Kiddo loves ‘em best. It started out as a way to get him to eat his veggies when he was little, but now he prefers them this way!
1-2 lbs Hamburger, lots of minced garlic, a finely chopped onion, a finely chopped large green bell pepper, finely chopped mushrooms, one raw egg per lb of hamburger, bread crumbs (although I omit these lately and use less egg). Mix it together well, pat into patties and fry ‘em up. It stretches the meat and gets some roughage in there.
