Linda – What’s Bariatric TV? – A fantastic online resource and community for weight loss surgery patients – and those who love them – by WLS patients. Toni and Lynnda both had the surgery several years ago and they are lookin’ and doing great!
Right after my weight loss surgery I’d pass the time and watch BTV’s hilarious weekly podcasts. Watching really helped me feel like I wasn’t alone, and made those first few weeks after surgery a lot more bearable! I loved their quirky outakes and quite often I’d find myself laughing out loud or talking back to the computer screen while I watched. Good thing I was alone a lot, eh?
They have online no-drama forums with nice people. Here you can get your questions answered – or just check in to say “Hi!” From my first post I was welcomed by the nicest people you’d ever meet. Everyone is genuine and supportive there. Whooo!!
